Traveled with family and took cable car both ways. Interesting site and multimedia was interesting. It would have been interesting to do the climb (one way is 50-60mins) according to guide if time allowed.

I visited Masala by car and was bowled over by its rugged beauty. I noticed that the younger and fitter visitors were largely electing for the pathway climbs to the top, I however took the excellent cablecar. The views from the top were stunning and...More

It was nice taking the cable car up and down. The most touching part of the site was seeing the room where they discovered the lots -- names written on clay drawn to determine who would have to kill the others and then themselves at...More

Walking here you see a lot of ruins and the colors of the rocks are orange, beige, etc. I wouldn't want to be here in the summer, would be very hot.

It is really worth the effort to get up early in the morning and walk up the Snake path in order to be at the top at sunrise. Even in winter and even if there are clouds (of course, there shouldn't be too many; but...More

Interesting story with a great architectural legacy. Easy to reach with a cable car or on foot (moderately hard). You can refill water bottles near the entrance and on the site itself.

Sorry to take so long to get back to you but I've been in the Philippines for the last two weeks. You just pay the park entrance and walk right outside to the start of the Snake Trail no guide needed ever. Up on top of... More
