Yes it is sad to see these animals in captivity however please understand that this park was created to save the injured animals from not being able to survive in the wild and allowing the public to visit them and allowing us to learn.

Mira River, well kept grounds, various festivals and activities happening, wildlife park, 3 way facilities for RVs and area for tents. Family friendly.

From my own personal experience from being a seasonal camper here, I would say that this park is very family oriented. It has a nice trail for families or just you by yourslef to explore and see all the animals that are home to it....More
