A great museum that covers the technology, geology,community, science, and history of this amazing resource. There is truly something for everyone. Dont miss the thermal pond out back. Gift shop has ice cream!!!

an interesting overview about social, industrial and geological story of the valley. the museum explains the begininng of the industrial complex of Larderello and the life in the nineteenth century.

We found the place by coincidence and we were really bluffed! It's free and you get a lot of information, presentations, explanations, very nice personal at the shop and in the museum offered us a bit later to go up to the hill to see...More

The museum was a bit run down and very much an old-style museum which did not bring the interesting subject to life.

The museum is free, although you need to take a token from the shop. The site is significant for renewable energy fans, according to the tour guide they produce 2% of Italy's electricity here from steam they drill down to find. The museum is neat...More
