The newly opened hotel is extremely nice. However our room was only on the 2nd floor and it took forever for the water in the sink to get warm, but that wasn't really a big deal. We ate at the steakhouse and I was surprised...More

We've been here before, and clearly the whole place has been updated recently. All the slot machines were in good repair and modern. There is a good selection of gaming tables including a $5 Blackjack, which is nice for amateur gamblers like me.

Hotel says it's smoke-free. Entering the lobby from the parking lot, you immediately smell tobacco smoke. Exiting elevators to room floors, again, cigarette smell. Rooms do not smell of smoke. Tried to call Housekeeping from the button on the phone because there were no toiletries...More

Attended the grand opening of the new hotel. Enjoyed being the first group of hotel guests to stay at this very nice establishment that caters to adult venues. Definitely worth a visit.

Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel WILL be the premiere spot to stay when you're in Rio Rancho, Bernalillo and Santa Ana. Impeccable! Love it. You wont be disappointed.

Great options for slots. Very clean, friendly staff. Was there on a Monday, so not very busy, which was nice. I would go back.

Very nice casino. Spacious, clean, friendly staff with a large no-smoking section. Much better than the other casinos in the area. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the construction area of the new hotel tower takes up a lot of...More

We have been coming to the Friday Seafood Buffet occasionally for several years and have noticed a decline in quality and value. The salad bar has become basic with little variety. The prime rib is sliced as thin as deli meat and when asked for...More

If you are from out-of-town beware, this Casino has no way to verify authenticity of out of state driver's Licenses. I was just turned away at the bar, because their security said I presented a fake ID. I'm 31 years old, on vacation with my...More

I had to call for this one. I'm not a regular gambler, so this is too complicated for me. You have to enter your birthday and one day each month, they have drawings (prizes like buffet, $50, other small stuff) for the people... More
