We had an amazing time at Chateau du Cerons with Marie guiding our group in an English tour of the chateau and vineyards. Later, we had a lovely picnic under the shade of the large old trees with pate, fresh strawberries and coffee (amungst others)....More

Without a car, chateau is accessible by hourly trains from Bordeaux, plus a 15-20 minute walk from the station. No public busses, but cabs may be pre-arranged. Interesting explanation of process. While not noteworthy, wines were acceptable.

We just visited the Chateau and had a terrific visit. It is one of the smallest vineyards in the Gironde region but top quality tour and tasting, the hostess was terrific. Highly recommended for a personable one to one visit.
