Friendly spot, well groomed pistes, smallish resort, not pretty architecture! Good value lift pass and rental prices. Rental facilities basic, other options available in Jaca nearby. Stunning views from the top of the mountain into France and south to Spain. Road closed twice in the week I stayed requiring long trips to Formigal instead.

Astun is a small very friendly ski resort just in the Aragon region of Spain. There is an enormous car park and a shuttle train takes you to the main area or to an old two man chair. We found the slopes were well maintained but most of all everyone was so friendly and all too willing to suggest routes... More

We are a family of 5 and this was our first trip to a Spanish ski resort. We were positively surprised by the beautiful scenery, the quality and variety of the slopes and the fair amount of people in the station. We found the station to be the perfect size for a family holiday as it is large enough to... More

Our family of 5 (girls 6, 9 and 12) just returned from a ski trip to Astun. This is our first trip to a Spain ski resort and our expectations were to find something in the middle (middle-low) range of quality and options. We were positively surprised by the beautiful scenery, the quality and variety of the slopes and the... More

Ok lack of snow can't be helped but a number of runs higher up were left crusty, unpisted and barely skiable when they were badly needed to relieve the pressure on the main slope. I imagine it could be an excellent resort in good conditions.

Best landscape ever seen, if you like winter holidays and snow everywhere, try it! A bit more expensive than I was thinking it would be, maybe a 3 days ticket with equipment included should be more acessible for all pockets, but as a group of friends in middle 20's, we had the best time!

Wide, open slopes and no lift lines. The first week of February it hardly ever stopped snowing. We made fresh tracks on every run. The only problem was that the longest rental skis were 177. Next year I'll bring my own.
