Visited the temple with my family, including a 2-year old. The temple is located next to the shore and is culturally important place of worship. There are 3 options of entry - 250, 100 or free. Took the 250 special darshan ticket and still took about 2 hours to complete darshan. The pancha linga idols are situated in a cave... More

I went to this temple in 1962. I had to go from the railway station in a horse driven cart. It was like a village. But when I read the above reviews I find that the priests have not changed. Shirts not allowed 100 rs is better as usually crowded Don't fail to visit the pancha lingas behind the main murugar, spl ticket to be purchased for that Shanmuga archanai is famous here Beach is too good, main gopuram is closed ànd we have enter only from side gate Praharam is quite long and numerous small Sannidhi to be seen... nice holy place for lord muruga, one of the arupaddai veedu near sea. we will get peace once we entered the temple. big temple , huge crowd. we can stay at temple madam by paying meagre amount. There is a locker facility for keeping our luggages

Such a divine experience in thiruchendur murugan temple. Near a beach there is a slope way to temple where murugan, vinayagar and dhatchinamoorthy sannidhanams are there. Its amazing and there is a lots of crowd when we went to that temple last week. Got a nice darshan. Its one of the aarupadai veedu temple.

As per my astrologers advice to visit srivaikuntam(thiruvaikundam-an abode of lord VISHNU) to get rid of my problems with my father,i visited srivaikuntam and waiting for bus to depart to tirunelveli .At the bus stand i met one guy(srinivasan) whose name is mine(srinivas).he got a little bit excited after our introductions(when i asked whim which bus will go to tirunelveli)... Vibrant and rejuvenating environment. Best coastal spot to enjoy . Its more economical , affordable and enjoyable. One of the arupadai ( six major ) temples of lord murugan. It’s ideal to stay at night and enjoy sunrise in ocean. If it possible have a short trip in steamer boat.

Temple is divine. Beach with clear and clean water is amazing. Both kids and elders will enjoy because it gives best for both.

This place is one of the aaru padai veedu....temple location is amazing.... situating very near to sea.... important festival in this temple is soorasamharam....v went for early morning darshan in special entrance...v have to give some datchanai to the priest to do pooja in our name....lot of positive vibration felt in this temple....special pooja for guru bagavan was performing here....if...
