I booked this trip for myself, husband our 11 year old daughter and our 3 year old son and we were all so exited. Our son has been diagnosed with Autism so our family life is always based on routine and lots of planning. His condition is managed really well and getting days out organised is done weeks in advance so we had... I agree with Win 80 . The train was not special and poorly decorated . The scenic views non existent with only a knocked up mock village at the end of the line. To say it cost £22 per adult to experience this cheap ride . What is wrong with the UK that we cannot offer better attractions , as... More

I thought I had to log on and post a review, as for thanks to " The Polar express team" my 2.5 year old daughters dream came true on Thursday 10th Dec. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left it was magical !! So please do not take in what these -ve reviews are saying, for me... More

Taking my girls who are 5 and 3 We boarded the half 5 polar express last night and loved every minute! The staff were so friendly and spent loads of time with the children posing for photos if asked. The chef even posed with me for a selfie!! We were sat on the right side of the train for The... More

A trip on the polar express left my daughter in tears and my son cynical. The helpers in the carriage looked like they had been dragged in off the street and the hobo looked liked he had just come i from the pub, no particular costume. The hot chocolate was the awful stuff you add water to and tasted cheap.... More

Just come back from the Polar Express and had a great time. My 5year old grandson loved the experience and wanted to do it again tomorrow. The staff were amazing. Couldn't be more friendly if they tried and made it personal to every child. Yes, as stated it wasn't a steam train and yes the North Pole was slightly lacking,... More

My partner bought tickets for the 'magical' Polar Express. Our 5 year old little girl was so excited, counting down the days we get to go see Santa! The car parking was muddy, but what can you expect for a small county side town. VERY misleading about it being a steam train! Conductor was so friendly, We manged to locate... More

Well, bear in mind we traveled for 2 hours to go on the 'polar express' so that will have some influence on my review. I certainly wouldn't make the trip again. Parking was easy though the car park was muddy and the stuff they put down was slippy so be careful and wear suitable footwear. Didn't queue very long for... More

We took our 2year old son on The Polar Express, along with both sets of grandparents. It was an excellent experience throughout. Parking was directed by stewards in hi-vis jackets and very organised for such a high volume of traffic. The car park is muddy so would advise boots or wellies. The lights and whole feel of the station, even... More

Having read previous reviews regarding complaints about families being split up, we were apprehensive. 3 of us went on the Polar express ride in standard class. I read their website carefully about the seating policy and telephoned them to confirm it. I was told that as a family of 3 we would definitely be sat together at one table and... More
