Lovely, quiet, friendly museum. Some nice pieces and all local links / stories. Its a bit out of the way but go there, drive out to the lighthouse and spend time relaxing.

We visited here yesterday and spent hours walking around, reading the information and even flicking through the heaps of old photographs! What an amazing insight into the history of the area and the enchanting Pictish times.

This is a wonderful museum with fascinating displays - particularly about the ancient Pictish population. I was amazed at the ancient artefacts on display. Well worth a visit.

A tiny museum with such a lot in it. Really lovely to be able to make a coffee and sit to enjoy the video about the recent excavations. Such a fascinating place, and so well explained. Lovely collection of Pictish stones.

We had no idea that such a museum existed or that so much was known about Pictish history. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
