The admission fee is 150 NTD per person, which allows you to redeem 50 NTD worth of products. Apart from the first 2 or 3 flower fields near the entrance, there were not many flowers when I visited in early January, though I cannot be certain how the attraction is like at other times of the year. The gift shop has few items priced at 50 NTD and below, so you will probably have to top up with additional cash if you would like to redeem items. I would not really recommend this attraction unless you have time to spare in Taoyuan (day of arrival or departure) and like flowers. You can probably spend 1 hour here. Cihu Memorial Sculpture Park is right outside Daxi Flower Ocean Farm Ranch, so you can visit that as well if you are interested in Taiwan’s history.

Had to pay NT150 per pax to enter. Except for the patch of flowers in front, there was not much to see. Waste of time. Cafe at the top serves super diluted coffee and hot chocolate.

-beautiful and clear sky

cons:
-do not go in summer as it is unbearably warm

We went there in Dec 12 while we were on our way to Daxi Old Town. The wind was so strong and cold when we were at the aprk. I am one who loved flowers. What I can said was the flowers was not so great but overall a different kind of experience from other country. We cannot compared by judging what we have seen before but can only enjoy what already there for us to view. The surrounding was pleasant and quiet partly during weekday so we can really enjoy ourselves strolling around the park. If too crowded I don't think you will be able to enjoy. Our driver told us that the flowers that planted in the park was base on the season. I guessed different season you will be experience different type of flowers.

Do take note that there was an entrance fee when you visit the park.
