Hualien Cultural Creative Industries Park is a nice place for Hualien, with many small unique shops, or just people watching. A good place to get your Taiwan souvenirs.

Great place, similar to Taipei's Huashan, Songyan Culture park, but people are not so crowded, there is aboriginal culture coming in, plus nostalgic Japanese architecture, good meals, good coffee, worth to visit !
