Initially I thought this place is only show case mini places of interest, then I realized there was a theme park inside, after taking the train!
Just as many commented, this place is a bit old (Europe area) and indoor playground was a little overcrowded and dim. America area? Has a playground with barricades and hence we can let the young children play and round without following them. Choices of food is limited as well.

We didnt know what to expect since we had bever heard of this place but we fell in love with it immediately! The miniature models of important places in Taiwan and other places in the world were amazing. They are divided into continents and are high quality, well maintained miniature models. Plenty of photo opportunities for everyone. There were also plenty of games, rides, and things to do/see for little kids of different ages. Our daughter enjoyed the slides and rides the most. I wish we had more time but the park close relatively early. I definitely recommend this as a must see destination, although it is a little far from the Taipei City center.

The park looks old like an amusement park in the 80s. The rides in the amusement park section are just ok. The frequency of the bus from Taipei is so very low. No need to spend a day just to get there.

I believed this place needed some updates badly after all these years. No doubt, still quite an interesting sight to see "the world" in a smaller version.

It was the top attraction 35 years ago, and I remembered I loved it. mainly because 35 years ago model trains were not popular in Taiwan, and exchange rate was not favourable, no one had model train and model train layout back in early 1980s /35 years ago.
35 years later, I can assure you there are many miniature artists, model train layout clubs offer much more detail, better maintenance model layout then them....Expensive ticket and expensive gift shop too

Average theme park with minature replicas of popular buildings around the world - like LEGOLAND theme parks. Some exhibits are spoilt or damaged and need to be repaired. Same goes for the airport and airplanes. Some airplane models have already been retired.
After viewing the mini replicas, you will reach a railway station. Board the mini train and it will bring you to the middle of the theme park, about a 5 minutes ride. Disembark and you will reach the water play area and some arcade games. The arcade machines are outdated or spoilt.
Walk on further and you will reach an indoor amusement centre with few rides included as part of the entrance ticket. Rest of the games and rides need to pay separately. This is where most of the crowd are located. The eateries are also located in this building - a restaurant and 2 takeaway food kiosks. Nothing spectacular.
Overall, the theme park is outdated and seriously need upgrading to keep up with times.

It's a very good amusement park especially for small kids. I have visited this place since I was a kid. At that time, I wasn't quite impressed with its exhibition and facilities, but after many years when I revisited with my kids, I felt quite impressed with its improvement. Kids and I had a very good time. Least but not the last, all of the staff are very friendly. They always answered my questions with smiles, everyone of them. The only defect was the food. Not so yummy... We only tried fried chicken with french fries. Even though these are fast food, I still hope they can provide fried chicken and french fries with professional quality.

Famous as an mini-world theme park in the past. Quite a pity, it was transformed into a amusement park in recent several years. They have no choice, due to the harsh competition from other entertainment parks.
The amusement park is indeed very successful. However, the real treasure is over 130 exquisite miniatures of world famous architectures..

It's more fun for kids, kids are above 2 years old are good to go. It's a open area, wind blows heavy. There are two areas. One is for visiting then other side is like theme park.

A fun day out for all ages. Easy access by car from Taipei, Taoyuan etc. Water park section wasn't open but all other rides were. Queues were 20mins for most rides on a national holiday Saturday. Would return with a picnic next time. Drinks and food prices reasonable. Our 4yo had a great time.
