We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It's a metro Ⓜ, it's not an attraction!!!
What are you gonna put next, a tree? Or maybe a bride or a red light?
Stupid people 😥😥😥

What a easy and fun way to get around in Kaohsiung, especially if you want to see the port area. This light rail system takes people to the part of town that is filled with art center, galleries and handicraft stores near the Kaohsiung port. I would love to spend a day just exploring there. The rail was sparkling clean and just fun to be on it and enjoy the scenery.

LRT... Or just the Tram, connecting the port scenery with Battery powered Trains, easy to use, cheap.

This local light railway service is completely separate from the High Speed Rail, with its new Station well outside the main City, and serves various points around the City and its environs.

This is a relatively new service around the Pier and shopping mall district. Apparently, it used to be free, but now travelers must pay to use the service. Each stop has a ticket machine, at the platform, where you can purchase single trip tickets, or like us, you can use your Easy-Card. The stops are strategically placed at all the tourist spots and the trams run every 15 minutes.

We traveled from Pier-2 to the Dream Mall, and found it very efficient and comfortable.

A simple clean regular service that is easy to use and use your Easy Card on. It was free but now you have to pay for it which is fair enough

New to Kaohsiung the light rail (was free) is a great way to explore the side of the city not accessible by the MRT. It isn’t very frequent in Nov 2017 but this should improve over time. The trams itself reminds me of those running in Melbourne.

Though I am a Taiwanese, I have to say that this is one of the worst mass transportation system I have ever used. No control on how many people boarding on, more than 15 minutes wait for a tram. No refund service at all if u cant get on. Don't use it if u r traveling to Kaohsiung

This transportation reminds me of Hong Kong's ding ding but an upgraded version. It is air-conditioned and comfortable which is great esp during a hot day. A single trip will cost 30 NTD. Ticket can be bought at the platform or if not, ipass can be used to pay for the fare. Easy card can be used in future.
