The museum doesn't have much to see for English speakers, but the carvings are interesting. Actually, spend more of your time in the town--you can see many sculptures around--and buy them. The smooth and shiny woods are quite aromatic.

Amazing talent on display in several well curated sections. Some pieces have artist statements some don't but you don't really need them to appreciate the work involved.
This was a very surprising Museum. There are multiple floors and displays of local wood sculpture. A mix of modern and old Wood Sculptures. A great place to get out of the Sun and enjoy a little local Taiwanese culture.

A very fine museum, showcasing the local specialty in arts and crafts. There were some astonishingly beatiful pieces on display and the whole place was well organised and professional. Deefinitey worth calling in, if you are in the area.
