We went there on a rainy day and didn’t expect much. It turned out to be a nice surprise. The compound was converted from an old machinery repair factory, hence the rooms were expansive and still had a strong industrial presentation.

If you're staying in Xinyi as we did (Grand Hyatt), this is worth an hour or three to wander through. Lots of neat local craft stuff, some neat book shops, an Eslite store, etc. Worth putting into a day where you wander around Xinyi.
Set in a lush tropical garden, this old tobacco factory turned local art & design market was a beautiful surprise on our last day in Taipei. Also perfect timing it was "Pop up Asia" exhibition with many artists from around Asia showing off their creations....More
