Visited here on a Tuesday afternoon and it wasn’t so busy. I booked my ticket online and missed my 11am slot, but they changed it at the counter for me. Observatory is what you’d expect, amazing sights over Taiwan. Overall, value for money.
This is probably one of the premier malls in Taipei with an observatory at the top: very much a la Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa.

Hello. There are websites offering discounted tickets/vouchers to these attractions (like the one I often buy from). Besides getting discounted rates, another benifit is having a special lane once you get there and you'll just have to show your voucher. So it means that you won't have to go through the process of queueing just to get the ticket onsite, and therefore 'skipping the line'.
