Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place is good for young kids like my 5 years old, he enjoyed seeing the unique paper artwork. It is a very small place consisting of few small building blocks selling touristy local food items & some relevant cardbox things. Kids get to enjoy the tasks of going to these "shops" to stamp their vouchers and in return earn a free gift. There are 2 spiral slides which kids can enjoy playing or taking a cardboard train ride.

Coming down straight from Lavender Cottage. This place is best for young kids. it is not so big, but you can see quite a lot of art work surrounding. There was some work in progress, maybe they will add a few more art work. the souvenir shop sell a good quality products for souvenirs.

Recommend by my guide, seems okay at first place but actually this place has nothing special and just perhaps it's suitable for family with kids only.

It is not just about the beautiful carton items that fascinates us. It is the floral and fauna, the pink curvy tube slides that our kids went for a zillion times, the tutu train made from carton and the great mix of food and beverage. We spend the whole morning there though it was a small place. Highly recommend for families with kids.

I was glad we chose to visit this place in the end because my 5yo loves this place. He was oblivious to the fact that almost the whole place is made of carton boxes, but then the place is quite interactive.
My 5yo enjoyed the few slides there, with one huge slide from the 2nd floor down to the ground floor just near the entrance. He went up for many rounds.
And he was also delighted with the train ride (which u need to pay on top of the entrance fee) which took him round the place.

There was a restaurant inside in which the tables and chairs were made of carton boxes. Even the baby high chair is made of carton boxes.

Overall, it was quite fun and quite a novelty for us.

Never did thought to see all furnitures in the restaurant are made of cartons. It was nice to browse around their gift shop.

Don't really recommend it for people who don't admire art that much, like me. honestly, its nothing special. Not even worth the travelling and time to take pictures. I was bored to death over there. The shops there sell carton templates for making miniature sculptures if you are interested to make one. Can be a hit with children as they love to explore this kind of stuff.

Be aware that they charge an entrance fee.

I haven't read a review yet that talks about the pink two-storey slide at this carton king outlet. My two young children went on it about 30 times and were so thrilled (and exhausted). They will only remember the slide while the adults will remember how amazing that so many things can be made out of cardboard. There's even a "zoo". We spent about an hour here but you have to come here while it's still daylight to get nicer pictures and to enjoy the view.
