“Just to say you have been here. The food stalls are more exciting here while you use the toilet.”

Our tour made a quick stop here so we can have some photo opportunities, toilet break, and of course some afternoon snacks. It was a hot day but the breeze from the ocean was fabulous. Fresh fruits, grilled meats and squids, freshly squeezed fruit juice...More

It's a perfect stop after spending hours on your vehicle. Not many people were here when we arrived, the view is amazing. There might not be a lot to see except the white pillar, but I find it just enough for an attraction along the...More

Too many buses. Too many people. Made a quick stop to observe the monument. Left the scene as quick as possible. The views by the ocean are better

The tropic of cancer monument provides a quick photo opportunity and the chance to stretch your legs: along with everyone else! The experience wasn't enhanced by the loud music blasting from the nearby small shop.

On the way driving from the south of the Island along the East Coast, it worth a stop for a picture before heading to Hualian. Although it is nothing fancy, but it is not a common tourist destination, right?

Big phallic structure which purely serves as a place marker but for some reason is extremely popular with tourists for photo opportunities. Average at best.

Supposed to be 23.5 degrees north latitude here. Was a stopover from our driver to check it out. Bought some snacks and ice cream here to munch too. Can give it a miss if you are not passing by.

If you are driving by, it is good for a photo and a snack from the many food stands. Don't go out of your way.

I suppose it would be fascinating to be there at the specific time/day to see the effect of being "shadowless". Otherwise, just drive pass.

Though it is cool to cross the tropics, the less said about this place the better. Busloads of hacking, screaming and smoking chinese tourists. Cigarette venders and a row of screaming locals selling fruit and little else. The toilet block is bigger than the attraction....More
