Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

St Christopher.s Catholic Church is in Chung Shan North Road, Taipei's Main Street. It is the meeting place for Taipei's Filipino community. Many Filipinas go to Mass, then meet their friends for a hamburger at McDonald's. It's the highlight of their wek. St Christopher's is a home away from home.

Lovely church held an English service. Led by Fr Edwyn, this friendly church has a predominantly Filipina congregation. English mass was preceded by Rosary before mass proper. A strong harmonious choir added to the lovely experience.

St Christopher's Catholic Church was built in 1957 to serve the foreign community, most of whom were then US military personnel. When the US recognised Beijing as the government of all China in 1979, the US forces left the island. St Christopher's still serves the foreign community, most of whom are Filipinos. Mass is said in Tagalog and English several times a day on Sunday. . A "little Manilla" has grown up in the vicinity of the Church catering to Filipinos who want a taste of home. . Several Filipino restaurants serve brunch on Sunday, as well as the ever-popular McDonald''s. St Christopher's is not spectacularly beautiful but its dedication to serving its flock is to be commended. Visitors are always welcome.

The church frequented by Filipinos can easily be accessed via a short walk from Yuanshan Station and passing through The Expo Park and Maji Square. The place feels like you are back in a local church in the Philippines.

The church is near our Airbnb. We went there for the Sunday English service. The church has service in three different languages. Chinese, English and Vietnamese.

St Christopher's is in Chung Shan North Road, it is the favorite church of Taipei's Catholic community. The church has been around for many years, serving its parishioners' spiritual and social needs. For many Filipinos, Sunday is a time to meet old friends and exchange news from home.
