Exhibitions of the different types of paper and the history of paper making. Exhibitions were interactive, and they had this workshop to make paper daily at about 2pm (didn't attend). There's photo taking opportunities at the rooftop too.

This museum was an unexpected find (long story) but it turned out to be 5 minute's walk from my hotel and I didn't want to miss out not visiting it. Do keep your eyes peeled for a big green banner on Chang-an East Road as...More

This place is a delight. We visited on a week day, there were primary school children and only two other tourists. This is a small museum but definitely worth a visit. After looking round we made a sheet of paper in the rooftop workshop. The...More

This was the first attraction I visited in Taipei, and I was delighted to see the architecture as well as the displays are both compelling and intriguing. I wasn't interested in taking a papermaking class, though those are certainly available. The history of paper-making and...More

The museum isn't the biggest, but it's very interesting and above all very peaceful for being in the center of Taipei! Spent about two hours there, and the workshop is fun. The staff is very friendly and cheerful, and gave some excellent advice about other...More
