This park is great for jogging around and leisurely strolls. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, the space under the adjacent Jianguo Expressway Bridge is turned into an open market selling flowers, potted plants and all kinds of trinkets. There is an outdoor amphitheater where...More

We walked around Daan Park on Chinese New Year Day so it was very busy with lots of families enjoying the surroundings - take a walk around the eco park - you'll be amazed at how many different species of bird you'll see (plus fish...More

With so few large green spaces in the city proper (yes, there's plenty outside the city) Da'an Forest Park ticks the boxes for interest. The gently sloping grounds, water features and sculptures make it a neat place to wander about. But, be warned, there are...More

Daan Forest Park is, by Taipei standards, a very large area devoted solely to recreation. Trees are found everywhere, and the large lake hosts a variety of native water birds, including egrets and ibises. For the ankle biters, there's a big playground and an extensive...More

Walking around ore running around the park outside. Good time to get out from the street and you need to recover yourself. A lot of people and on the weekend is a good place.

Without meaning to be too critical...Daan Forest Park didn't quite live up to expectations. My take was that this was a very urban like park, with jogging trails, paths, exercise areas and other facilities. The trees were mostly short (young?) and unspectacular, and although restful...More

This is a beautiful park (not really a forest park though) in central Taipei. It's big enough for a few laps running, an extended walk or just some chill time or a picnic.
