Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Daan Forest Park has lots of trees; it's a big park, you can go for long walk. There's also a large children's playground. Under the park is a big car park that suits park users.. The lake attracts many waterbirds and also photographers. Getting to the park is easy; there's an MRT Station literally outside the door.

It's nice to find a great park here in Taipei. Daan park is one of them. The park is HUGE, great for picnic, jogging and taking your dog out for a walk. Occasionally on the weekends there would be live music performance. There are also lots of street foods around the park. Not to be missed!

Da'an Forest Park is the pride of Taipei City. It's very large, with lots of trees. There's a large area just to stroll. There is a large playground for children, where they can run and play. Da'an Forest Park has a number of special features, including banyan trees, bamboo groves and a lake. The lake attracts a large variety of waterbirds and photographers waiting patiently to get that special shot. Getting to the park is easy -- there's an MRT station, and an underground car park.

There are many wild birds, people with cameras, and groups quietly practicing tai chi. There is also a firefly breeding ground. Even though it is early January, the temperature is 18 degrees Celsius, which is unimaginable in Japan, and the azalea flowers are blooming. It is a peaceful moment when you can feel the spring a little early.

Family relaxed, meditative friendly, street performers, plays for picnics and ball games, a little bit of forest. This podcast basically everything. Don’t try to ride your bike within the park only on the outskirts. And the international flower market and Jade diagonal across The street. You also have Louisa café at exit 3 and a cement roller skating rink also. What’s not to like

Sixty five acres in size, the so-called “Central Park of Taipei City” lies in the heart of the city.
Though just one tenth the size of New York Central Park, it is really one of the largest parks in Taipei City.
In the Park, there are lawns, banyans, bamboo forest, flowers, ecological ponds, water channels, ... etc. There are also an outdoor concert venue and a children's playground.
This is a wonderful place for various outdoor activities.

I liked the big statue of Guan Yin that people sometimes stop and pray at while they are jogging. It's a nice little park that people seem to enjoy a lot. It's a real asset to the the city. There are even bird watchers with their cameras set up, but there did not seem to be many birds at the pond. Maybe they were just photographing each other. :P

This large park has plenty of vegetation, both flowers and trees, has large lakes with many waterbirds, tortoises and fish, plus a lot of space for picnics and games. It is hugely popular on weekends. There is a Metro station right on its edge, so it is easy to visit. There are people walking, skating, and playing ball games. many cameras are in use on the water birds.

I was surprised by the amount of green space within Taiwan and Daan Park was my favorite. This park is big in size with a lot of trail networks. There are also a lot activity places and playgrounds. There is a big pond here which is great for bird watching. I came here in the afternoon, there were quite a few people out exercising, which was nice. Daan Park was easy to get to and is next to many other attractions. Daan Park is a must when visiting Taipei.

Is it a good idea to visit on a Sunday? Or is it better to go on a weekday?
Written 16 September 2019
Any day in the morning is a crowded affair with lots of people doing their morning exercises. In the afternoon or later morning, weekdays are more quiet. If you are looking for the regular birds that are in the central pond, they're there all the time and all over the park.
