A must stop on the Ring of Kerry!
It was amazing watching Tom guide their dogs, Tess & Clare, to precisely move their sheep throughout the landscape. We were also fortunate enough to see their 10 day old lamb & her mom. Appreciate the skill & tradition of this art. No matter the age, everyone would enjoy seeing & learning about these precious animals while in this gorgeous countryside.

Make this part of your Ireland experience!
Definitely pop in here on the Ring of Kerry for a sheepdog demonstration! So glad we did! It’s truly amazing and charming to watch. Tom O’Sullivan gives an educational and interesting explanation of Irish sheep herding with his dog. Right next to Caitin’s Pub and lovely gift shop. So worth it - it will very much add to your Ireland adventure!

A real highlight of our trip!
LOVED this experience! We got up close with the sheepdogs Claire and Tess (and international sheepdog champion!!) and watched them work. We met and chatted with Tom, his wife and daughter and learned more about the dogs and his business and family! The dogs are taken care of like family and are so smart and fun to watch. I would definitely recommend!

    Absolutely worth the stop!!
This was one of the highlights of Ring of Kerry, and Ireland, for us. Not only does it amazingly showcase some awesome Irish Border Collies, it helps you to understand how Irish Farmers utilize these incredibly smart partners to solve their sheep problems. Such an awesome show and well worth the stop!!

    Sheepdog herding at its best.
I'm so glad we stopped here. It was purely joyful to watch the sheepdog herding demonstration. You could tell the dog loved his job, and Tom did a wonderful job describing how the dog worked.

DON’T MISS THIS Great stop ON YOUR RING OF KERRY TRIP. RESERVATIONS NEEDED IN ADVANCE
Actually 8 stars is what I would have rated it vs. 5. What a highlight for our tour group during Ring of Kerry ride. The farmer, Jingo the dog and the sheep were a FABULOUS way to spend an hour. Very interesting, humorous, history about the sheep and the need for the dogs etc. You could ask questions. We just wish it had been longer. There were four of us traveling and we all thought it was in the top 5 highlights of our 12 day Ireland trip. Opens at 10 most days and closes early afternoon.

Amazing experience. So impressed I bought a sheep whistle which I am attempting to learn to play (not easy at least for me).

Stopped here on a bus tour. It was fun to learn about the dogs and the sheep, we really enjoyed watching how they work and hearing about how they are trained.
