Curracloe Beach is a regular holder of the Blue Flag Beach status. The dunes are currently the subject of an active conservation policy by Wexford County Council ensuring that this marvellous amenity and the plant and wildlife it contains, will be preserved for future generations. A nature trail runs through the dunes and continues for 5 km to Raven Point, passing through the beautiful peninsula which constitutes Raven Nature Reserve.

Lovely walks on this beach fantastic scenery, the local council should try come up with a solution to tackle the massive problem of dog poo on the beach it's sad to see people are so ignorant and don't respect the beautiful beach just rather leave there dogs poo everywhere.other than that she's quite the spot

As a child I spent a few summers in Curracloe in my Grandfather's mobile home and I spent a lot of time on the Beach. I was always amazed that we had a quality beach in this country of this calibre. I was just on it yesterday with my five year old son and my partner for our second visit... More

We visited on a clear, sunny November day. We learnt that the beach was used to film the opening scenes in Saving Private Ryan. It is a huge expanse of clean sand and clear water. Just beautiful. Great for a walk or to enjoy on a warm, sunny, summers day.

Beautiful long beach to visit even in the winter time. You can walk for miles and let the winds flow against or with you. Real seaside and real coast. Fantastic

Being from Tipperary and going to our usually beaches like Tramore and Clonea I didn't have high hopes but this is a spectacular beach, sand and water as far as the eye can see.

This is a must visit on a trip to Wexford a walk through the Raven wildlife reserve and back on the beach which is brilliant if the tide is out. Usually so quiet there is never a crowd here and one can walk all the way to Blackwater past the scene of Saving private Ryan. Has to be one of... More

Indescribable beauty, no rubbish to ruin the nature, mild enough water to swim in late spring to early autumn, just... fantastic

This is the cleanest beach i have ever seen with lots of active sport and recreation on it. Great views of the working fishing boats. Fantastic forest at one end and calm waters.

A truly beautiful beach totally unspoilt and great for walking. One of the best beaches in Wexford and worth a visit. We made friends with a lovely greyhound and his owners had rescued him, a very lucky dog who well deserves to have this fantastic beach on his doorstep.
