This is a special place for Orthodox Romanians, as here are the holy relics of four martyr saints, that were found in a near-by crypt, at Niculitel. The monastery is simply beautiful!

One of the most beautiful churches in the Dobrogea area and even comparable with the monasteries in the nord of Romania. It is appx 150 years old and beautifully located within forests - perfect fro a day trip whist in the area.

This is by far the most beautiful church I have seen in Rumania. It is almost 200 years old. The priest was very friendly. Opposite the church is the monestry, where the monks live. Beautiful place. It is worth the trip.

I liked the gold leaf mosaic and a huge central chandelier. I'd tell you much more but it takes me a lot of time to write in english.
