The mausoleum's dome, or gonbad, is over 150 feet high and is the highlight of the complex. Covered in turquoise, the dome is a fine example of early Islamic architecture.

As we were driving towards this building it certainly stood out on the landscape. Quite dramatic architecture from the outside. Once inside it was impressive, with beautiful tilework and design. Although it's under restoration, Soltaniye Dome is amazing, from out- and inside. One should consider the age of the building before deciding it was amazing or not.

Dome of Soltaniyeh is near the Zanjan in Iran . You can find the third big dome in the world that made by break .

I visited this dome several times. Iranian Islamic architecture is waving in it. Soltaniyeh turquoise dome is visible from a distance of 5 km. Other attractions can be found around Soltanieh's beautiful dome
