This is a small museum on the edge of the town of Abbeyleix which features a working model railway exhibition. There is free parking outside as well as a play ground for children. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

I enjoy this centre but it might be that my family are originally from the town...? It certainly has helped me to confirm oral tradition with history so it is worth a visit in my books
