A really fun and interesting tour.
We had an amazing tour at Caseificio Bio Reggiani. Attila was a great tour guide and was very friendly and answered all our questions. It was very interesting to see al the different parts of the cheese production. Afterwards, we got to try some of the various aged versions of the Parmesan, and some wine as well. There is a small shop on site as well if you want to buy anything.

    The real Parmigiano Reggiano
We had a wonderful visit from start to finish! We saw how the Parmigiano was made with each step explained by our guide. We also went to see the cows including the adorable babies. Our visit was completed with a tasting of ricotta made that morning and 3 different age Parmigiano cheeses. Our guide explained the differences and what we should be looking for. Now we are praying TSA allows our cheese in!

    Great Reggiana Parmigiana dairy tour
We really enjoyed this tour of this Parmigiana Reggiano Dairy. It was so interesting to learn how this type of cheese is made, and how long it takes for it to be considered real Reggiano Parmigiana. Also, we didn’t know that this type of cheese is only made in this part of Italy. Our guide was terrific. The cheese tastings were yummy.

    Incredible!
Absolutely outstanding experience! Attila, our guide, did an exceptional job explaining the entire process and making us feel welcome and part of it all. If you love Parmagiano Reggiano (or Parmesan for those outside Emilia Reggiano) this is a MUST stop experience. Wow!

What an awesome visit! We met the cows, saw the cheese made from start to finish, witnessed a wheel of cheese being cut the old-fashioned way and tasted the most delicious wheel of aged parmesano reggiano. Theresa, the owner, was gracious, generous and informative. This was out of the way for our group as we were staying in Tuscany but well worth the trip!

We had a really great time with our family; informative, friendly and interesting. The tour was the right length of time, ending off with a relaxed tasting. Would definitely recommend to experience this age-old craftsmanship.

this is a very educational visit

this location is fairly big. you will visit the cows pen, cows milking station, and see the 3 different rooms where parmigiano reggiano (commonly called parmesan, to the consternation of italians) is being made from scratch, fermented, and aged.

at the end of your, you will get to taste riccota cheese, parmigiano reggano of 20, 40, and 80 years old

make sure you are one of the early birds if you want to see the cheese making process, as the workers begin as early as 5 am
