It’s a relatively small place with some activities such as the haunted house and maze. The shows are good. Souvenirs are cheaper than other tourist sites in Kyoto. But not really worth it. Half a day would really be enough if you insist on visiting...More

The park may look unassuming compared to USJ or Disneyland. But it's a must destination as it is distinctly Japanese. To many of us adults who were children to Toei animation. The main lobby takes one back to the days of Kamen Rider, Star Rangers,...More

Not worth it. Overly priced for what you get and it was so empty there. Nothing too exciting to do here. It seemed more interesting online but once you get there, it’s very boring and empty. Wish I saved my money and the long walk!

Reasonable half day out for family. Quite a distance to walk from the train station which reduces the worthiness of the trip. Enjoyed the Samurai show in the main theatre. Interesting activities await at the back of the studio park but separate entrance fees are...More

Anyone interested in martial arts or the history of samurai or ninja should come and see. In the ancient Japan environment there are numerous shows. On the spot, you'll find fine souvenir shops. For the park you need at least 3 hours.

Some said it was a glorified gift shop. Pretty much. All attractions save for the ones in the theater are paid ones. Which I didn't enter. I don't see why I have to pay extra for rides when I have paid the entrance ticket. Didn't...More

The entry price gets you to look at a few super sentai costumes, a Edo period Japanese village and a few shows. Every other attraction for example, a haunted house or a neat changed perspective art place cost 500Y to enter per person. If you...More

Western Kyoto is home to some of the city's best
eccentricities. Kyoto's Saga-Toriimoto Preserved

houses and eateries. Pleasure boats drift down the
riverbank, under wooden bridges that beckon nature
lovers to hiking trails and botanical walks. The

I would like to say "yes". However, remember that all stories told on stage are in Japanese. You will require a translation device for English translation. I don't know how your kid will like that interpretation method... More

Hello~! My Name is Brandon! My Wife Kathleen and I will have our Honeymoon in Japan Early April. I researched your site to find out that your attraction does Costume Rentals, which is GREAT! I saw a previous Answer from a Client stating "Authentic costume rental from 8,500 yen and up. This is what Toei is all about! Professional makeup and wigs, and help dressing into your costume, and then you can stroll in the village looking like a real period drama star. (You need a reservation for authentic costume rental)" I really want to dress in a Full Shinsengumi Outfit(if available), and my Wife in a Traditional Kimono, I'm trying to find the link to reserve a spot for the both of us, but I can't seem to find it anywhere on the main site, if you can give me more information(also link if possible), I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you so much for your time!
