Got to sit on this 2 people only chair to go all the way up around 300m to look at the whole city. It was snowing at that time. Super chilly. Great experience.

However it was snowy on this trip so the view was obscured until when we were about leaving then the sky cleared enough that we can see Sapporo city down below. It was nice to get up on the ski lift to the top and...More

My wife and I visited with local friends. The first thing that I noticed was the convenient (and free) parking at the road level for this attraction. In the U.S. someone would be charging $10 to park! After parking, it’s an easy ride up a...More

The ski lift is a very enjoyable ride up to the observatory. Taking the cair lift to the summit gives you a real appreciation of how steep the ski jump is, and how brave the Olympic athletes must be to launch themselves down the runway...More

We enjoyed our few hours at the Olympic museum and the lookout, the ski jump itself is amazing- so high and steep- looks over the entire city of Sapporo. The museum is very interactive with lots of things to actually participate in like virtual ski...More

Take the chair lift up if you want a good view of the city of Sapporo. Best to go at night to see the lights. If you are a sport nut, fan of the winter Olympics, have kid, or enjoy active simulators, bundle your trip...More

My hubby went up to the observatory and he thoroughly enjoyed it. I, on the other hand have fear of heights so I stayed at the museum >.<

I give it an average. What you have to think about is? This is the number one thing to do in Sapporo? That's pretty scary. I've been in Sapporo three days and let me tell you that's long enough.

I went to see this on one of the city tour buses. It was an amazing experience. The ride up was nice and slow. At the top there are three different levels of observation deck. And one of them has ice cream. I had the...More

The area is not easy to get to with public. Best is a cab. We used a private car with the driver waiting for us. Maybe cheaper to just let the taxi go the. Request for another as soon as you finish.
