This park offers winter activities (tubing, snowshoeing, cross country skiing) for free or for a nominal cost. In other seasons people come to hike, mountain bike and enjoy the several waterfalls around the park. Access is by bus from Makomanai Subway Station.

The main park is more suitable for families with young children. Alternatively, adult visitors may like the few short walks to various waterfalls.

I took a taxi to and from my hotel. The driver waited 2 hr for us at the snow attraction car park to drive us back to the hotel. Taxi fare was 10, 000 yen in total.
