Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

As someone with a passion for exploration and travel, i felt the need to escape the pressures of work during the last holiday season. While browsing the web, i stumbled up the Japan and Vietnam tour offered by Absolute Asia Tours. Honestly, When i initially booked the tour with a company i had never experienced before, i didn't have overly high expectations. However, Absolute Asia Tours provided me with the most unforgettable journey through Japan and Vietnam.
In Vietnam, I rediscovered the joy of living, relishing delicious cuisine and immersing myself in the unique local culture. Additionally, my time in Japan allowed me to connect with the enchanting natural beauty. experience the refreshing cold weather, and savor authentic sushi in Kyoto. my tour guide was exceptional, constanly accompanying me and ensuring my well-being throughout the trip. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Absolute Asia Tours for orchestrating such a meaningful and memorable journey for me

Visited Osaka during business trip and decided to join one of the meetup hiking. Although we didn't get to see too much snow but overall the trip was great thanks to the great host.

I had moved to Kansai and was looking to meet some new people, so I decided to join Kansai Hikes. I had an absolutely lovely time. Everyone was very kind and I had wonderful, interesting conversations with people from a variety of backgrounds. Our guide, Andy, was great. He showed us some beautiful views of Kobe and provided us with good information about the hike and the area. The hike itself was a little challenging, but absolutely worth it! I would definitely recommend Kansai Hikes to anyone interested in getting to know the local hiking scene and also wanting to get to meet new people. :)

The path we took was overal quite interesting. We got to see some cool houses in the residential areas before we reached the starting place of the hike. It was a good experience. Plus the staff were very accommodating.

If you're bored or just looking for some outdoor challenge, you should check this place out. You won't regret it. :)

This is a nice hike, a little challenging in a few spots but generally not too difficult. Andy knew the walk well and made sure he spoke to all the walkers at some point during the day and even seemed to remember everyone’s names. The dropped star is because it felt a bit rushed and there wasn’t much time to enjoy some of the views and I got the sense that Andy was keen to finish (this could have been simply that the time allocated for the hike was a bit too short). Also, I was surprised that we finished in Okamoto two stations away from where we started.
It was a pleasant opportunity to interact with a group of people from many countries so I would recommend this hike as an enjoyable way to spend a weekend afternoon.

The staff are excellent at finding hidden gems for you to explore. The hike I went on in Wakayama felt unique and isolated, and I won't be forgetting it anytime soon. Hugely recommend it.

I have gone to 3 different hikes with Andy and I have really enjoyed, not only because is well organized, but also because Andy usually is looking to add an extra plus to the experience. Last time I went to a temple hike to see the nature and the temple (that was great) but in addition on the way we had the amazing opportunity to see an Iaido practice and we could learn interesting facts about it!
fantastic experience.
