sakae district is best explored by foot. the streets are less busier compared to other cities of japan.

Stayed in the heart of the area. Lots of facilities and shops. Easy transportation to rest of the city. Great architecture and parks nearby.

Close to transport / shopping. Very pleasant. Slightly boring, but very pleasant. Felt a bit like a time warp to the 80s.

had a great time exploring Sakae area. Donki is less than 5 minutes walk from our hotel, the bus station to and from the airport is about 10 minutes walk from where we stayed. everything accessible including metro trains and bus stations for Nagoya Tour

Lots of department stores, shops, restaurants and bars. A large number of hotels in this area. Very nice to explore each of the side streets. Busy area. Closest subway is Sakae

I was there on a Saturday, and there was quite a lot of people shopping around. Surrounding are mostly department stores and shopping malls with mid-high range brands. For budget travellers, better go straight near Sakae station for the underground shopping street and Oasis 21...More

Nice place to wander around and check out the shops within a couple of block radius of the train station. Lots of restaurants. Great people watching.

You hotel us on the Nissaki-Dori. Opposite is a park. Exit the hotel, turn right walk away from Narita station, towards the Nagoya tv tower, you’ll see it as you get closer. It’s a 15 minute walk. Watch out for the blue... More
