Glico Sign is like Osaka sign, you should take photo in this sign when you come to Namba, Osaka. Its a perfect place

There is no way that you will miss this iconic location for your photos to show that you have visited Osaka. Both night and day shots are pretty and will definitely add wonderful memories to your holidays!

Best authentic ramen and every other Japanese cuisine you can think of..Premium Ahi tuna and meats. Very reasonably prices and awesome tasting. Especially Kuromon Ichiba Market. An open market with ALL the authentic Japanese food youwant.

This is a popular landmark in Dotonbori area, probably one of the most photographed as well. You can't miss it as its next to to Dotonbori river.

Iconic landmark of the area!

I reviewed this place in my visit here 2 years ago and in my recent revisiting to Osaka, I also come by here since I was doing my walk-about in Shinsaibashi shopping street, where the sign was located.

Having "stood here" for over 70 years, this signage is in fact, one of the most, if not the most, iconic and popular landmarks of the area and you will see many people, mostly tourists taking selfie, wefie or even group photos with the sign before them! Well, good to "photograph" with him if you happen to be in the area but not worth it to come all the way just to see it!

Somehow, visiting Osaka means seeing the Glico Man sign. Area is crowded getting a nice photo can be challenging. Been there, done that......as the saying goes.

It's only a illuminated sign, but...

Somehow this feels more important than it should! It's one of things that you just have to do, coming here to take a photo - or indeed, watching everyone else doing the same thing, some half falling over trying to balance in his pose! Sometimes you see him "running" past notable worldwide landmarks in the background, which is fun as you spot familiar sights from halfway around the world!
