We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very scenic point at the light house.
However, in 1952, there was an accident in the ship, Yaeyama-maru, from Naha, Okinawa, which killed over 30 passengers around this place. Therefore, there is a memorial monument fot the victims.
Beautilful scenery. But we have to remember the great nature.

Just a few minutes drive from Kabira bay, this place has amazing views. The windiest of places in Ishigaki Island. I would recommend to go off a bit from course to get best views of lighthouse, creek and sea. Do see pictures attached; you will get an idea

So glad we rented a taxi for a couple hours to visit this remote spot on Ishigaki island, such breathtaking views of the ocean and island, definitely worth the trip if you like lighthouses and great views. Good 30 steps up to the lighthouse which unfortunately cannot go in, but again beauty all away around especially on a sunny day!

It is recommended to get here by a rented car as the lighthouse doesn't lie on any public bus routes. It is far from the city center, making bicycle not the best choice. However, if you do have a good bike and you're up for a challenge the ride along the peninsula to the lighthouse offers some stunning views (along with very steep hills).

It was a very windy day when we visited so dress warmly. The view from the lighthouse was spectacular 360 degrees. Plenty of photo opportunities. Worth a visit.

It is on the way to Kabira Bay from Ishigaki City and the airport. This is the third time I've been to this cape with a white lighthouse, and it's always windy. I parked my car in the parking lot and walked up a small hill, but the wind blew through the area where I approached the stairs to the lighthouse and passed through the cliff, and I saw someone whose hat had been blown away and was unable to be retrieved. Please be careful to prevent this. When you climb up to the lighthouse, you can see the beautiful sea, and I always stop by to see this view.
