Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The walk to the falls is relatively easy and not far from the road but there is the problem, the sound of the motorbikes roaring up the range at times drowned out the birds. However, I enjoyed the walk, the falls are pretty and I did see some birds in the undergrowth. I would recommend the walk for those who can’t walk too far or want somewhere close to the main Tamborine area.

Great easy walk which has a ton of things to keep the toddler stimulated. Steps cut into a log and hollow logs a plenty to keep them entertained. Easy to navigate and people very polite on the walk. 30 minutes in total, walking downhill and back up on the return.

We were visiting the area and decided to go for a walk to Curtis Falls. We were lucky to get a park so could imagine it getting very busy in summer months.
The walk along the creek was really nice with lots of rainforest trees and palms. The falls were quite impressive with a fair bit of water coming down. We continued to the lower falls and they also were very beautiful.
There were some young people at the falls climbing up the wet, mossy cliff. We were quite concerned but the risk takers did survive to clamber another day. And there were signs warning you not to climb the falls.

Stopped here for a short walk this morning. We could hear lots of bird songs as we got out of the car.
Waterfall was flowing nicely even though we hadn't had much rain lately. Pool below falls looked inviting for a swim but it's not allowed (to protect the glow worms and platypus). QNPS need to remove all the lantana that is growing on the other side of the pool. 😪
Quite an easy walk to the Waterfall but there are a few steps down and up again.
Good for kids - quite safe.
Nice deck with seat overlooking the rainforest gully...perfect to enjoy the rainforest sounds and sites.

Well maintained track, not too difficult, some steps, amazing trees and foliage to view along the way. The falls were not too spectacular on this occasion as there had not been much recent rain but it was still worth the walk. Good car parking and toilets at the entrance and a cafe right next door for a coffee fix after the walk.

Lovely rainforest track down to the falls. The extended walk down to the lower area is also worth the effort as the creek is scenic. We went in September 2022 school holidays and the track was quite muddy - don't wear your best white shoes!

Just beautiful one day but flooded the next lol. Absolutely gorgeous scenery on the Tuesday and weds but Thursday, was when we had the floods. Damage done to the Curtis Falls cafe but everyone was okay.

Don’t miss this place. Sooo beautiful.

We added on the lower creek circuit. We enjoy our bushwalks and this one was an easy walk - not too steep. Lots of water flowing over rocks through the creek. Path is well marked, but may be slippery after rain. Definitely one we would do again.

We visited today and it was a lovely walk. Definitely do the longer trek around if you're able. It was lovely being in amongst the rainforest. The falls are only a short walk down so nice to see a bit more of the area.

Visited recently. Good walks and the falls were picturesque. Folk need to stick to the trails and look after the place a bit better.
