Surf lessons with Carlo

My friends and I had a private lesson with Carlos - it was absolutely incredible! We felt safe and prepared heading in to the water. We enjoyed every moment of it and he instilled a lot of confidence in us! He even let us try on our own for a little while after the lesson. It was definitely above and beyond. I would recommend this surf experience (and Carlos!) to any and every one in the area.

Amazing surfing experence

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a day of surfing with Carlos and it was the best experience ever!
We went from not being able to stand on a board at all to successfully riding waves over and over again. He is an excellent teacher and we would book again with him next time we are in Lisbon for his more advance trips.

Amazing private lesson with Carlos.

Carlos is an extremely knowledgable ex-pro surfer and unsurprisingly an outstanding teacher. My girlfriend and I are were both complete beginners this morning, but after a two hour private lesson, I feel like we could pick up a board anywhere and confidently keep practicing on our own. Both of us managed to stand up almost every time after a detailed explanation of the technique on the beach before getting into the water. We even started to learn turns towards the end!

I would highly recommend using Lisbon Surf Tours. Carlos picked us up from Alfama, Lisbon, and dropped us off again afterwards, all included in the price.

The lesson and transfer was such a great experience and so reasonably priced. There is facilities to safely leave your belongings whilst you surf and changing rooms right on the beach.

I will be going out of my way to have another lesson with Carlos again next time I am in Lisbon. Don’t look anywhere else!

Portugal Surf with people who know and care

We were met at our hotel in Lisbon with van, boards, wetsuits and of course a warm story telling guide named Carlos. We were taken to a great local breakfast place cruised the coast and arrived at surf spots that were dead-on to our surfing level. Carlos made the trip! He was there surfing with us but really was interested in us having a great time. He set me up with recommendations in Algrarve and changed his schedule to accommodate us on the back side....Awesome team!

Morning of surfing

Spent the morning surfing with Carlos and it was fantastic.
He kept in touch with us prior to our surf experience to let us know about the weather, advising us to postpone the surfing experience by a day due to high winds and big waves, which could potentially make it unenjoyable for us as novice surfers. He was incredibly accommodating, booking us in the following day, and adjusting the timings of the day, so we didn’t miss our flight home that evening.
He collected us from our hotel and drove us to Carcavelos, where we had a fabulous and informative surfing lesson. He then dropped us back in time to get to the airport.
Carlos made amazing adjustments for myself as a deaf person, to ensure I got the best experience possible, by changing his instructions from verbal to visual demonstrations.
We had a fantastic morning and it really made our trip to Lisbon. I would 100% recommended Carlos and Lisbon Surf Tours to others.

I had a great time with Carlos. He is a fantastic teacher and very friendly. I surfed for two days. If I would ever go back, I would defenitly call Carlos again.

A great day

So nice after 2 days of visiting Lisbon to be able to enjoy the seaside. Super convenient, Carlos came to pick us at our hotel. He is very professional, a great teacher and really nice. I was travelling with my 2 daughters. One of them didn't want to surf so he arranged her to get a bodyboard instead.
Thanks to him we spent a great day in the sea!

Carlos picked us up from our hotel and dropped us back there so that's very convenient. The beach we went to had good surf and Carlos was friendly. I hound there website to be a bit clearer than the other surf schools in Lisbon.
