Podilatadiko (“bike shop” in Greek) is a multiplex for cycling enthusiasts in Zakynthos. Cyclists ourselves we’ve created a venue for any cycling need, open all year long. We provide the best rental bicycles on the island, guaranteed service and sales under the trademark and trust of one of the biggest cycling brands, Specialized. Open all year long providing a variety of 18 high quality bicycle and equipment categories (Road bikes, E-Bikes, MTB, Trekking, City, car racks and trailers), delivery all over the island and additional accessories. We also provide guided tours we our best local guides in order our guests to have the best possible experience in our beautiful island.

Very good bikes. Good service. Our bikes were dropped at our hotel upon request. Got 3 spare tubes, pump and tools to change the tire in case of bad luck. Also lock chain provided. Guy gave us some advice for beautiful rides. Very nice island to explore on a bike. Roads are good but be careful for some potholes in the road and always watch out for trucks and busses, they are not used to bicycle riders on the road like in Belgium.

What a fantastically well run business, I have always hired my road bikes from here in holiday over many years. Communication is first class and Natasha and Denis do all they can to give you a fabulous experience. The bikes are excellent quality and well maintained which gives you the confidence to go and explore. The service is excellent with drop off times at our hotel that suited us.

We got in contact with Natasha from Podilatadiko even before our holidays to rent two road bikes for our trip to Zakynthos. Everything went perfectly well, absolutely uncomplicated. We were told that the bikes will be delivered to our hotel whenever we want and picked up from there again. How cool is that? No hustle to go somewhere for pick-up and drop-off. We even asked if it’s possible to get a mount for our Garmins - and of course this wasn’t a problem either. When the bikes were delivered we got equipped with a map, spare tubes and everything else you need in case of a puncture. Great bikes, great and uncomplicated service - highly recommended!!

Just had 3 day hire of a road bike, easy to organise with Natasha through email and very good bike dropped off on time with no issues. Would thoroughly recommend and will use again.

Super bike, service and routes in Zakynthos 👍🏼 they made bike setup before delivery, deliberer the bike at the hotel and collected again at the hotel.

Highly recommended! On the island there are many non-professional bike renters that did fail me. Cycling center only exceeded my expectations. They have very professional staff and the owner is a funny guy ☺️ also some staff race as well. So they can give great tips on routes around the island. I rented a Corratec eMTB and did few fantastic training with my fiancé. After rental and returning to Finland, they even mailed me my forgotten Garmin mount. True 5 star bike shop. Bikes were clean and well set up.

Fantastic bike hire. Really helpful and accommodated my last minute change from gravel bike to a a Specialized Turbo SL Cora e-road bike. This bike was absolutely stunning, well maintained and frankly a revelation - first time I have used an e-bike. Not sure I would go back now I have tried it on hot holly holidays. Other than on the steepest hills >10% let’s you stay healthily and pleasantly aerobic rather than dying!
Zakynthos is moderately hilly and from where I was one of my routes had quite long sections of 8-15%. I would have struggled with these without a bit of boost especially since I couldn’t do the traditional 6am start because my wife wanted to run. This made them doable even in the heat. It’s nice cycling with some fabulous scenery.
The bike was also well set up. I normally run tubeless in the UK, punctures are hateful! Christos had set this up with latex goo filled anti-puncture inner tubes which was perfect and I didn’t experience any flats despite the fact my cycle routing kept sending me on detours down gravel tracks with a disturbing number of razor like stones. But still no punctures.
I do recommend you use a rear radar Garmin rtl 515 or similar - it’s good on winding roads to know when you have something behind you.
Anyway I would thoroughly recommend cycling on Zakynthos and this is the place to hire from. So thank you to Christos and Natasha - fantastic.

Dear Mr Legg,
First of all i have to say that you are going to love cycling in Zakynthos. The change of scenery and the beauties of the island are just amazing. Moreover you will have a complete picture of the island which is essential when you visit another part of the word. Keep in mind that the route is made in order to avoid as much traffic as possible and follow the most quiet roads of the island. Also you can expect good quality tarmac especially on the north and the west side of the island.
According to the fitness level and the needs of our customer we can cover 60-100 Km and the total elevation will be around 1000 meters. In that case the bikes we have available for you are the Specialized Tarmac & Roubaix or the Specialized Allez.
The duration will be about 4 hours including stops and we can schedule the tour any day from Monday until Saturday.
