Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Local products and local histories are very important in order to understant the "genius loci" of a place you visit. I was very impressed when I learned the 50 year story of this local perfumery ....just try the Zante eau de parfum and the Sambac eau de toilet, a unique aroma of Zante

We were on a family trip to Strani heal and we were pleasantly surprised by our visit to this family Perfumery! Discovering how perfumes are made: An experience to treasure! Friendly people, original aromas and a great memory of our holidays in Zakynthos!

A delightful perfumery to visit. We were able to find out how the perfumes are made and see the equipment used. Lots of testers available to try. Some beautiful candles are available to purchase too.

I'm a man, and my wife will tell you that I don't know much about smelling nice but having visited Raziaroma I may just have turned the corner. We enjoyed a very informative visit and came away with bags full of lovely things, all of which smell very nice indeed. There is even an aroma suitable for us chaps and I have resolved to return from the golf club smelling less like a third day sock and more like someone who will be allowed or even encouraged to share a table at dinner.
The perfumes are made on site form their own recipes, some of which have been handed down through the family and the end results represent really good value for souvenirs and presents, unique too.
While my wife was sniffing away I was very interested in the production process and was amazed at the sheer volume of raw material required to produce the essential oils, it's really worth the trip.
There is an added bonus that production unit shares a site with the Solomos memorial, he was the guy who wrote the national anthem and was an acclaimed poet. A statue of the great man is placed at the top of a short path and the views from there a wonderful, it's worth the trip just for that.

If you ever have the chance to visit Zakynthos, you must go to the Perfumery Razi Aroma Meditteraneo which is located at lofo tou Strani next to Bohali! There you can find and try the most beautiful local perfumes made by local incredients and you can buy them at a reasonable price!! It's a beautiful area with a fantastic view near Zakynthos town!!!

Whenever you visit a touristic place there's certainly a great variety of local products to buy: drinks, clothes, sweets, pictures, etc. But have you ever heard of a perfume as a local product? Well, that's the case of Razi.
The enterprise is a family business that has been active for 50 years now. The perfumes were inspired and produced by the actual owner's mother. The premises of the enterprise are at Strani hill, near Zakinthos town. Organised tours take place where visitors can actually see the process of making a perfume and try or buy the products. There's a shop downtown as well, right on the pedestrian district.
The aromas are inspired from the local flowers, such as bougarini ( sambac in Latin). There are perfumes for both men and women. The smell is flowerish, light. It gives a sense of freshness.
I have tried various perfumes but my favourite is Sambac. It has the exact smell of Sambac flower. I simply love it.
