Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Some places leave you speechless. This was one of them. 🙌
The trail was very easy to follow and detailed. Suitable for all ages.

I am so happy we decided to do this trail in the morning. It’s straight down but then levels out nicely. The canyon was very skyscraper-like. Breathtaking! It’s one of those hikes where you stop serval times and just say WOW!

Easy hike on a mainly sandy trail. Lots of different types of vegetation and flowers. It's easy to see from the parking lot how it got its name.

This was the first pull off upon entering Arches and it is a good indicator of how gorgeous the geological formations will be throughout the rest of Arches. Also prepares you for the hiking to be done…they start you off easy. Good place to start your adventures…..

Unfortunately, a sprained ankle and a rain shower prevented our group from hiking Park Avenue. In many ways, Arches seems like two different parks. You have the various arches in the back of the park and these great monoliths and towers in the front. However, we did get to see the monoliths and towers from several of the parking lots. I love the 3 gossips and the courthouse. It was also great to see down the Park Avenue Trail to see how it is lined with towers on both sides to give the appearance that one is walking an urban street with skyscrapers on both sides. Don't miss this part of the park.

This trail is almost like walking along a sidewalk, with little change in elevation and a well maintained surface. Lots of other walkers since your goal is one of the iconic arches in the park.

You can jump in the hike or just take in the views at the trailhead.

It is possibly most impressive as a panoramic view than up close

Start at the Park Avenue lot and hike downhill to Courthouse. If you have someone to meet you there, you don't have to hike back up! This was one of my favorite hikes at Arches. There's not a "trail" so to speak, but you just follow the cairns down the wash. It's impossible to lose your way. I did the trail later in the afternoon and often felt like I had the park to myself as I walked between the towering stone walls.

We made this our first stop and hike. We did it early in our day, around 8:30, and benefited from shade most of the hike. It’s 1-mile one way. If you do a return from the 5th Avenue viewing area, there is a large step area to climb at the end. We also discovered the trail goes all the way through to the parking area by the courthouse. Starting from that point and returning back avoids the steep steps and gives you downhill on your return.

Hopped in arches from the back and hiked around. They had some rock art and we saw a lot of interesting and beautiful rocks. There were a few fat lizards running around.
