Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

You don't even have to hike to enjoy the towers from the parking area. I know it is really awesome on the hike, but we didn't have time here, so I got the best photos I could from the parking area. That's not to say that my photos didn't come out great. They did!
Definitely stop here.

A massive red rock formation (nearer the entrance to the Park) is stunning as are others in that general area including Sheep Rock, Towers of Babel, Organ — could be viewed from Courthouse and La Sal viewpoints. Impressive.

Easy stop near the Visitor Center on the left when returning toward the center. The large wall of red rock is next to the parking area.

I did not really understand the Courthouse name but I did find the formations incredible. This is one of the only areas that you do not need to do much walking to get great pictures. They have a small parking lot and some restrooms as well. The massive formations make you feel like an ant!

Courthouse Towers are tall stone columns located on the Arches Scenic Drive 4 mi from the visitor centre. The notable rock formations are the Three Gossips, Sheep Rock, the Organ, and Tower of Babel. The first two (facing east) are best visited in the morning while the latter two (facing west) are best seen in the afternoon. They can be viewed from the Courthouse Towers Viewpoint or the Park Avenue trailhead.
We stopped by the viewpoint around 8am as well as 7pm on a Friday in April. We also stopped by the Park Avenue trailhead around 7pm. Since you cannot see the Courthouse Towers from Hwy 191, it was quite a surprise to see such large stone columns once you drive up the scenic road. Although in the morning we were in a rush to get to the Devils Garden trailhead, we found it impossible to not stop and admire these majestic stone columns. The view at the viewpoint is better than the one from the Park Avenue trailhead because you're closer to the Courthouse Towers.

You cannot miss these rock formations, as they are so impressive and on the road to anywhere in Arches. At the lower trailhead of the Park Avenue Trail is a small pull-off with descriptive plaques of the landscape. From here you are in the middle of the Tower of Babel. The Organ, Sheep Rock and The Three Gossips. It is about 4 miles past the Park Visitors Center just down from Park Avenue on the Arches main road.
A truly impressive sight that you should take the time to stop and see on your way to some of the other "big" attraction.

Courthouse Towers is a large rock formation located along Arches Scenic drive abou 4.5 miles from the park entrance. It's plainly visible from a car, but there is a parking area with educational signage if you want a better look. Other interesting formations such as Tower of Babel, Sheep Rock and Three Gossips are also visible at this location. It is also the northern trail head for Park Avenue Trail (1 mile one-way, moderate difficulty). No restroom at this location.

Courthouse Towers is a rock lover's dream! The formations are like something out of a fantasy. The trail was short but sweet, offering panoramic views. Plus, the ranger at the trailhead was super helpful. Loved every minute!

Love this area for hiking, photos, and picnicking. Right off the road and the spires are impressive.

Spectacular setting surrounded by these impressive rock formations. Could walk the Park Ave Trail but just as easy to see by parking in the Courtland Tower area and taking a short 30 min walk in and out at this end of the trail.
