Helpful staff complemented with the usual tourist stuff (Books, magazines, post cards, etc.). Rangers were helpful with our questions.

We really appreciate the quality of the movies shown at National Park Service visitor centers; this one measured up. It gave us an appreciation for the history and geology of the region.

Worth popping in to see the film, which was very good. Sadly we did not see all the animals shown in the film.

It depends on how much you want to explore. We spent at least an hour just in the visitor's center. If you hike and what to see everything at least a day to a day and a half.
