One of my all time favourite hikes

Compared to some magnificient formations, I felt this was a kind of O.K. place. This is a little away from the main park,

Wow! I didn't think anything could surpass our previous day's hike through the Peekaboo-Navajo-Queens Garden trails, but Fairyland was even better. What I liked about it, is its vast, sweeping views and openness. It sounds hokey but you really feel like you're in a fairy tale world surrounded by whimsical hoodoos, golden walls, giant castles, and all sorts of other... More

It is relatively easy, except in winter when they close the road for the season in December. The parking lot always has spots at Fairyland, and do the circle loop trail from the rim to the visitor's center back thru the Fairyland loop return. It takes about 2 hours and is one of the best hikes in the State of... More

Another amazing view of Bryce Canyon, definitely looks like a Fairy tale village. The formations look like castles!

We were on this loop on our way to China Wall and Tower Bridge. This was our warm up hike after 7 hours in the car and was the perfect introduction to Bryce.

This trail is phenomenal! You run into amazing and curiously looking hoodoos around every corner. While not as "intimate" as some of the other more popular trails in the park, this is a real treat because you see amazing hoodoos and see vast sweeping views everywhere. I have traveled to national parks all over America, and this trail is in... More

It's easy to miss the turn-off for Fairyland Point, coming right outside the park entrance kiosks, but look for it, because I think Fairyland Point is just as beautiful as the Amphitheater. A short drive off the main road will bring you to Fairyland Point. There's not a lot of parking here, and there were many more cars parked here... More

I read reviews about this hike before going to Bryce Canyon and thought why not! Turned out to be my favorite trail in the park! Make sure you have good panoramic feature on your camera, because the opportunities will present themselves frequently. The park ranger informed us that the total hike should take between 3-5 hours, which was a fairly... More

This viewing point is actually before the entrance to the Park and therefore, isn't given as much attention as it should. You can drive right up to the viewing point and be absolutely overwhelmed at the proximity of the Hoodoos as well as their variety and beauty. It also tends to be empty because it's not truly advertised. A very... More
