We visited in late June. It was 108 F. The point wasn’t crowded. We hiked up from the parking to the view point. It is a short hike. The mountain waves are yellow. The views are beautiful. There are restrooms at the parking lot.

This site is amazing at sunrise and sunset, with the most amazing colors that change with the sun's position. A really fun site! Easy to get to.

We missed the sunrise and the sunset which are supposed to be the best times of day but it was glorious when we were there later in the morning.

Reached from car park by a short walk the views are amazing. The different colours in the rocks are fabulous and change with the light as the sun rises and sets

What a fun walk. Great view. Make sure you cover your face if it is windy. Felt like a natural sand blaster. Fun morning.
