This attraction is very informative and interesting, but is not currently accessible as billed. Several sections of the boardwalk have been covered by sand, probably due to flooding in previous months. A wheelchair could not currently navigate this easily more than a short way.

Very disappointed that we could not view this area. Tried visiting this site in mid-September, but the road was closed due to flood damage. Looks like this is a recent event since there are Trip Advisor posts since late August. It is listed as a...More

We enjoy strolling down the boardwalk. It is amazing to see water in such a dry environment. If you time your visit, you may have the opportunity to see the pup fish. The location is about a half mile drive off the main park highway....More

It's amazing to see the actual amount of water here. Walk out to the end of the board walk and take some time to look for the elusive pup fish

I'd been here three or four times and hadn't seen any pupfish. Stopped by this memorial day weekend and there were thousands! Great little hike!

I am reviewing this trail only to let people know that my family was followed from our car up the trail by large black bees/wasps. They wouldn't leave us alone so I had to retreat to my car (I am allergic to yellow jacket sting)....More
