Good to listen to the dirver of the boat who has known the palce since he was 14 (believe?). He knew about the habits of alligators, their life and the habitat a lot. Not many alligators to see though. Recommend the Shark place a few...More

Paddled some of this waterway as part of an 8-day kayak tour that also took in Florida Bay and the beaches of the Gulf.

We didn't kayak independently but took a small boat tour into the Everglades. Really worth it. We recommend the trip out from the Ranger station outside of Everglade City.
