The Going to the Sun Road is one of the most spectacular highways you are likely to come across and Logan Pass with its rest rooms and information centre is a great place to stop for the amazing views and walks it offers. In peak...More

We visited later in the afternoon when the crowd was dissipating and we're happy we did. We went on the hidden Lake Trail. Was a beautiful walk. I would say intermediate difficulty. Not a hard walk but coming down was a little hard on the...More

Used Logan Pass as the starting point for the Hidden Lake trail (AMAZING). A lot of people, hard to find a place to park. The best solution might be to use the free bus to get there.

Logan Pass, at the top of the Going to the Sun Road, is the ultimate Glacier experience. If you go in July or August, get there early or take the shuttle. The parking lot fills up fast and traffic jams galore. Once you get in,...More

don't miss this, you could see sheep and rams on the way up, the walk is a small challenge but 70 year olds do it.

Beautiful views and well worth the time to visit. Parking is the worst in the park. Shuttle might help but it's sad that we cannot visit our parks in leisure. Nature at its best.

Best if you ask at the GNP Parks visitor centre. The people there have good information. You can also check Trail status reports on the GNP website.
