We only spent one hour at the lake, but it was absolutely beautiful! It must be the perfect spot for a honeymoon. The nature is unbelievable pretty and you feel so close to nature. We almost ran into a black bear with our car, so yes nature is close. We would recommend going in the morning so the sun is... More

What a gorgeous place! Start with the lodge and just explore the area. If you came prepared, the boat ramp is across the lake to the west. There is so much to see here, but the lake steals the show! We took the kayaks out and the views are just amazing. The lake is not huge, but big enough and... More

We stayed at the Many Glaciers hotel and took walks around the lake plus a tour in their tour boat. There are many oppotunities to take picyures and see wildlife all around the lake

My husband and I took the long boat tour which went around and across Swiftcurrent. We then walked across about 1/4 mi to Lake Josephine. The boat tour continued across that lake and then we hiked about 2 miles to Grinnell Lake which is fed by Grinnell Glacier. It was well worth the tour and the hike.

Trailhead starts at Swiftcurrent Motor inn parking lot. It is easy walking with not much gradient. It's Bear Country & better carry the spray. Lake is very nice & enjoyed the serenity.

We celebrated St. Valentine’s with my girlfriend in this beautiful lake in February this year. We stayed for 3 nights at the Many Glacier Hotel and it was fantastic. The view over the Swiftcurrent Lake is stunning especially at dusk. There’s something magical about this place. You may rent canoes and kayaks from the dock.

A beautiful very deep lake. Crystal clear water. The mountains come down straight into the water in places. Many Glacier hotel is on the shore. They rent canoes and kayaks. There are wooden boat cruises.

Many Glacier Lodge on Swiftcurrent with the mountain in the background was gorgeous. They picked the perfect spot for this historic lodge. It looked the best early in the morning when the lake was like glass. There are hiking trails around the lake and a boat tour across the lake and on to the next lake.
