We are walkers, not hikers. But we were able to complete the hike to Virginia Falls without difficulty and are so glad we did! The waterfalls accessible from the St. Mary shuttle stop were beautiful. St. Mary Falls is about 2 miles round trip and...More

With the shuttle you can get St Mary, Virginia and Baring Falls in glorious 4 mile walk with modest elevation change and a variety of views and terrain. If I were to do this hike again, I'd go reverse of what I describe below -...More

We did this hike with our 7 year old. We started our hike around 4 pm and could find a parking spot easily. We passed this area around 9.30 in the morning and the parking lot was completely empty. So either take the shuttle bus...More

If you are going to St Mary Falls you might as well go on to Virginia Falls. The round trip is 3.5 miles. It is a shame that the fire went through this area a few years ago as it is not as beautiful as...More

This is a fairly easy hike with a couple of great stops along the way. Parking can be difficult but there is a bus stop right at the trailhead.

This was AMAZING!!!!!! Almost stopped at the 1st waterfall - but keep going or you will miss the best part of the hike. Words cannot describe the majesty and power you experience. Definitely worth the hike!!!!! A must see.
