My husband, a friend and I hiked the Virginia Falls trail. We knew the parking was limited so we arrived at the trail head at 7:15 am. There were only 2 vehicles in the small parking lot. The round trip (in and back out) to...More
We are walkers, not hikers. But we were able to complete the hike to Virginia Falls without difficulty and are so glad we did! The waterfalls accessible from the St. Mary shuttle stop were beautiful. St. Mary Falls is about 2 miles round trip and...More
With the shuttle you can get St Mary, Virginia and Baring Falls in glorious 4 mile walk with modest elevation change and a variety of views and terrain. If I were to do this hike again, I'd go reverse of what I describe below -...More

Depends on which you'd rather see, two sets+ of breath-taking waterfalls with a very scenic view or the hidden lake overview is just a unique awe-inspiring view of multiple peaks surrounding a beautiful lake. I loved both, but if I had to pick, I'd say hidden lake overview. A site I may never see again in my life. Hard to beat that!
