After doing some research, the south rim seemed best for seeing the iconic and truly scenic views of the Grand Canyon. I feel like we came at the right time of year as we comfortably parked at every view point without issue (perhaps in summer the shuttle is the only option as there just wouldn't be the room for a... One of the best views in the world. You can not understand it from a picture, it has to be seen in person to be appreciated. Hike the rim trail to the west from the village to see some less populated views. If you go about three miles you will be on a couple sections of trail which are only... More

Well worth the drive from Vegas. 30 bucks to get in. Amazing views something to see. I heard the west rim is 80 to get in and you can't take pictures. We rented a car and drove in. Boring drive after an hour or so.

Went on the hiking trail to see the Grand Canyon. Breath taking views of the natural wonders in the world. Its elevation is 7,000 ft.

A year ago we visited the north rim. It was nice. One reason we opted for the north over south is from reviews read. A number of persons suggested the north is better than the south. Interestingly, while both are very nice, the added incentive to see the south is the many overlooks available. We traveled from Flagstaff northbound and... More

I couldn't even begin to put in words or even take pictures to justify the amazing, jaw dropping experience we had walking the rim of this most amazing world wonder. Be sure to take advantage of the free busses that take you to further out points that cannot be reached by personal car

Grand Canyon visit was one of the 'must do' items in our list . We planned to visit South rim during our Vegas trip . I personally don't prefer long drive so we decided to take tour bus. The bus trip was good . Bus picked up from one of the the Vegas strip hotel at 7:30 and we reached... More

It was one of my dream to see it and it didn't disappoint at all. Very impressive to see it with your own eyes. It is also very busy and I have only one regret: not hiking down to the river!
