Spent the Christmas holidays hiking through the canyon and stopping at the tourist attractions. This was a great time to go...I'm the only person In most of the Pictures! So few tourists it's like you get the canyon to yourself.

I had an uncle who refused to visit outside of the USA until he saw certain sites in America. This was one of them. I have visited twice, both times were impressive and worth the viewing. The second time I found out they have a vehicle shop, so if you want your oil changed at this breathtaking Park just call... More

The GC is also great in the winter. Views from Mohave Point were sensational at sunset. Direct sunset ! Weather was cold. boots, hats, and gloves. There was a little snow on the ground, but nothing on the trails when we were there. IF you can, stay in the Village. It is easy and makes for a great visit. Not... More

The South Rim of the Grand Canyon is breathtakingly beautiful. Each scenic stop is more spectacular than the last. My husband had never seen this before and his first words were "this doesn't look real!" Learning the geological history of the area adds to this experience. We took a picnic of sandwiches, snacks and drinks with us and glad we... More

Visited in September of 2016. It was sunny (about 45-degrees at the start and warmed up to 65-degrees). So much to see and experience. Use their shuttles to take you to the different viewing spots in the park. Bring your walking shoes as there is a good deal of walking. They have great photo spots throughout the park. A great... Sadly when we went it was snowing so it was a complete white out but you could still see the depth and the outlines of the rocks. It was fun and I can't wait to go back when it's not snowing and see the Grand Canyon in all its glory.

This is best on a sunny day because the fantastic colors of the rock strata are dulled into blah with a cloud cover.
