Can't beat the views here. Consists of 9 stopping points, 8 of which you van drive to and park fairly close to the lookout points. Went today, Feb. 24, 2017 and it was 31 degrees here....rather cold but sunny and not too windy. There were some patches of snow but none on the roads. Best indoor views are from the... More

February is an icy cold time to be at the Rim, but the crowds are smaller, and sites more accessible. Trying to put a visit into words is an impossible task. What is worth pointing out is that any of the infinite views and perspectives changes constantly, as a result of moving clouds, and the movement of shadows. So, in... More

We were there in February so there was snow around and some of the trails were closed, basically we were limited to the top rim looking in. After 1 hour and a few photos there's nothing left to do or see. The bus system around each of the viewing areas is well run but the view from each is the... More

If you're a nature lover, even a little bit of a nature lover, the Grand Canyon's south rim will take your breath away! The scenic views, the color palettes, this sheer magic of a canyon that nature has created over so, so many years.....and at the bottom of it is the Colorado River...it's unrealistic! I could just sit there and... More

We hiked the Rim Trail. It was about 2.5 miles. The scenery was beyond beautiful and no words can truly express the vastness of this place.

I visited here by a rent car with my friend. It cannot be explained any word and photos. I felt what people are so small for the nature. If you plan to visit here, I recommend that staying more than one day is suitable to trip here. Also, I toured here by my feet not heli-tour. If I will visit... More

We got a bit unlucky with the weather the first day - it snowed and visibility was poor. But as it cleared up, we were blown away. I have seen pictures of the Grand Canyon but until you stand there, you don't fully appreciate the scale and breathtaking nature of the views. The rim trail is the easiest for families... More

I really enjoyed visiting the South Rim. Miles of walking trails and stunning views everywhere. Easy enough to get to in about 5 hours from Las Vegas, but much better than visiting the west rim in my opinion. Since its a National park, you can visit as much or little as you please (no tours you are forced to take).... More

Despite visiting on a Tuesday and February there were decent crowds. Fortunately the park is large enough that the crowds thin as you get away from the major visitor centers. Lovely park and friendly staff.
