This 8-mile stretch of road boasts a number of stunning views of the Canyon. Do it by car, foot or during peak season, May to September, by bus: shuttles run by the Park Service that stop at key points and allow you to hop on and off at your leisure.

First of all, be aware that many of the reviews here are actually erroneously put here - they're in the wrong place, as they actually refer to the Skywalk and what its promoters call the 'west rim' which it blatantly is NOT. Hermit Road is...More

We had a great time touring the canyon & dam. I'd recommend it to everyone. So educational. And fun for the price!

Whatever you do, do not go to the West rim. Go to the South rim. The West rim is owned by Indians and it is a complete rip off. The drive is horrible, the prices are outrageous, you cannot see the Grand Canyon AT ALL...More

I think a lot of the reviews below for Hermit Road are actually for some other attraction or tour. This is not some bus tour from Vegas, as many reviews stated. Hermit Road is a 7-mile scenic drive along the western side of the South...More

Is the 45 dollar entrance fee per vehicle or per person? What does that include and should i expect any other charges?

It's $30 per vehicle, good for all occupants and for one week from date of issue. That's until until you hit the gift shops! All the views are free.
